On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed, two former Virgin Islands Correctional Officers at the John A. Bell Correctional Facility in St. Croix were found guilty of assaulting an inmate and falsifying records of the assault. Former Charlotte Amalie High School Track & Field Coach, Alfredo Bruce Smith, is sentenced to 35 years in prison for raping and sexually exploiting underage male students at the school. The 35th Legislature passes three bills in an emergency session, following the Governor’s state of emergency declaration.
