On today's WTJX Radio NewsFeed: While Lt. Governor Roach issued a public statement last month asserting that he learned through the media of Haldane Davies’ appointment to serve as the Director of the BER, Governor Bryan countered in a VI Consortium interview last night that he told Roach of the move prior to Davies’ appointment. The Economic Development Authority is appealing to lawmakers for increased budget funding, pointing to the need for increased staffing to meet demands and expand its impact on the territory’s economy. A man has been arrested on attempted murder charges following an April shooting in Estate Upper Love. During the execution of a search warrant this morning, officers also took the arrestee’s father into custody for unauthorized possession of a firearm. Listen to these stories and more.
