On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed, two people involved in a ziplining accident on St. Croix are in stable condition following a multi-agency rescue operation. Less than 24-hours after the Virgin Islands Police Department held a briefing addressing the recent surge in violent crime, a 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in the territory’s 36th homicide of the year. And the legislature is working to transfer five million dollars in funds to ensure the continued operation of the territory’s public transportation system, after a miscommunication left VITRAN unfunded.
