On today’s WTJX Radio NewsFeed, General Buddhoe will be the new image on Virgin Islands driver’s license according to BMV Director Barbara McIntosh. Commissioner JP Oriol discusses plans for DPNR to provide five million dollars to the Waste Management Authority for the purchase of new equipment to address the issue of sewage leaking into the territory’s waters. WAPA CEO Karl Knight says the replacement of the Authority’s failing AMI system will take at least two years, and that in the interim they will be repairing broken meters and installing new meters in an effort to stop the Authority’s reliance on estimated billing.
